The Foothill Spiders Track & Field camp provides boys and girls with an introduction to, or a  chance to  improve existing skills in the six high school field events; Long Jump, Triple Jump, Shot Put, Discus, High Jump and Pole Vault.

Campers will also learn about the basics of the relay, sprint, distance and hurdle track races. The major focus will be on the fundamentals of training:  developing endurance and speed, proper nutrition, warm up, stretching, and cool-down techniques, and efficient running form. 

Campers can show off their new skills at the end of the week at the Spiders TC Youth Track Meet on Aug 5, 2023

No experience is necessary.  We look forward to working with your child to have a positive and memorable experience full of learning track skills in a positive environment.

The Camp is being hosted by the Track and Field coaching staff and senior athletes of Vista del Lago high school and will be held at Vista del Lago's Track.
